:D You have inspired me . I went out to the hobby shop and bought the kit and I just sent away for the Stormo decals. I hope I can do half as well.

Fantastic job again Michel !!! Hi Vince, I noticed in another sheet recently released the devil is different for this machine, I'm wondering which one is correct because I've seen many variations of the diavolo rosso.

Good question! The Diavolo Rosso for 3o Gruppo in Stormo Decals Bf.109 Italian Aces Part I is the correct red devil (from photos and the reference "The Messerschmitt 109 in Italian Service 1943-1945", D'Amico & Valentini p.113). The Diavolo Rosso in Stormo Decals Bf.109 Italian Aces Part II corresponds to 2a Sq IIo Gruppo, which as far as I know is the only correct Diavolo Rosso for this Gruppo in any sheet that I'm aware of and is an exact reproduction from photos in "The Messerschmitt 109 in Italian Service 1943-1945, D'Amico and Valentini p.115). All other red devils on other sheets are incorrect except for the 3o Gruppo red devil in the Skymodels and Aeromaster decal sheets (both OOP). Also interesting, regarding 150o Gr Aut. ("Gigi Tre Osei"), this unit badge does vary and if you have Stormo Decals Bf.109 Italian Aces Part I and Part II, you can do anyone (both white and colored stenciling).
