I'm no footballer, but from what I hear they want a new team not a new manager.
People still live with the '66 final over here-40 years ago,for God's sake.
Until the Brits forget that then we will never win another, and I'm dreading the day when and if we do

One thing is assured with Capello, they will get results. The English should be a serious threat in the next World Cup.

I'm having some fun with an office colleague also. Trevor (and I love him dearly, as he is wonderful person!) always takes a long stroll to my office to remind me when the English have a leg up on the Italians e.g., Manchester Unit - Roma 7 - 1 - I don’t think I’ve ever seen a prouder Englishman :) Anyway, I think Capello's objective will be to strengthen the English backfield. We know what the German and French squads achieved when they tightened their backfields, so expect to see the English play more defense going forward. You may see a return of David Beckham since a key component in the French and Italian squads is a talented midfield, Zinedine Zidane, Pirlo, Totti etc.
