European Championship

OUUUUHG! My bottom is hurting this morning! Holland won 4 to 1! Les bleus are nearly out of the competition and the match against La squadra does not mean a qualification, for both teams indeed. This is probably the end of a brilliant generation........

I was in the office and the two matches were televised on two floors packed with people, I've never seen it like this. What incredible results!

The match on Tuesday involving the Netherlands means nothing to the Dutch, so it'll be interesting to see if the Dutch should win … I can’t see them losing but I can’t see them wanting to let either Les Blues or the Azzurri through either … and if the Romanians lose, France must win to get through, a tie results in the Azzurri going forward on goal difference ... this is truly the Group of Death :)! I was hoping for a French Italy 1-2 from this group and a possible rematch of 1998 / 2000 / 2006 ... I agree this is the final debut of a great generation of footballers in both countries. Forza Azzurri ...

Ciao Jean :)

I think it'd be a pity to see one or both of these teams not move ahead. I'm looking forward to the next matches in this group.

Gli azzuri

Well, they are getting old and they did not provide any game at all. They only lasted one match longer than the "Bleus", but are on the same soapy slope! Donadoni is on an ejectable seat! By the way , do you speak russian?

... my x-girlfriend speaks Russian :) ... and I'm still not convinced the Russians are real, after all they did lose to Israel and only made it to Euro2008 because the English themselves failed to beat a lesser team. It'll be interesting to watch how the Russians fair against the Spanish.

Ciao Bello :)

If the Germans play a defensive game I can't see the Spanish getting past them. It should be a classic!
