Sparviero operations and Losses

Post by Markpa » Wed Jan 27, 2010 12:36 pm

Hello to all,
I am looking for any info on the action of the Sparviero in mainland Greece and the Ionian islands during the 1940-41 conflict. Although I have pretty much covered the participating units I am looking for actions that it took part as well as the losses it sustained.

Hello to you too,

I happen to have both Air War and Courage Alone that are as comprehensive as possible on this but I need some kind of losses reports and actions descriptions especially around Athens. Thanks for the reply.

Hello Markpa,
There is a book by:
Alexis Mehtidis, Air War Over Greece and Albania 1949-1941
It contains a day to day account of operations in Greece and Albania by both Axis and Allied Air Forces.
This should help you out.
Vincent.
