FIAT CR 42 spinner color

Hi!!! I'm working on a Falco model at quater scale.
I try to make the Falco pictured on page 31 of Squadron signal's "Fiat CR32/42 in action" and on page 54 of Osprey's "53° stormo".
The plane was pictured in North Africa in 1941, may be Agedabia airfield.
And i have a Monty Pithon question "What is your favorite colour ?"
Is the spiner colour Red, verde oliva scuro, black, blue or other ?
