Hello,

I came across this very interesting illustration on German e-bay:

Thought you guys might find the two-green upper camouflage interesting

Hi Alex,
The illustration is likely based on photos of MM.60270 that carried the three tone color scheme (in the CMPR Color Guide A3A). Things to note are the tri-color flag and spinners and the plane was powered by three Alfa 128s.

It seems You are right.
It says 'Motori Alfa Romeo' in the add headline.

Again a fake profile. The picture comes by a serie of postcards published in the Seventies by Italian Stato Maggiore dell'Aeronautica, if I recall to celebrate the then 50 years of the air force. The original thing is that posted by Vince, and it's a tipical three-colors SIAI early pattern.
Knowledge of RA camo was in that time far less than now, though many witnesses were still alive.
According to SIAI factory documents, paints were Verde 53192 (the darkest), Marrone 53193 and Giallo 53194 (i.e. CMPR Giallo Mimetico 3), with Alluminio undersides.
