Soccorso & Sanitari planes colour

Hi everyone,
looking at B/W photos of (idro)Soccorso planes equipped with Cant.Z.506C and S and various Sanitari planes (Ca.309, Ca.312) and SM.75 with Red Cross symbols, refering mainly to Moncalvo and Massimiello researches published on GMT notiziari and Araldica della Regia Aeronautica volume terzo;
I noticed that most of the planes were painted a different colour than the Bianco Neve of the Red Cross symbolsand the white of the Italian flag on the tail, even if the RA ordered a white colour for the whole aircraft.
This is very easy to spot in SM.75GA I-LAME, that was not properly a Sanitario plane but just a plane with Red Crosses applied,

but it seem to be the case also to the few Ca.309, Ca.312, Cant.Z.506C and maybe to Cant.Z506S:

Likely every one of these few planes had an own specific story (and maybe colour) but I'm considering if they were painted with a more "civilian" Madreperla or a Cachi Avorio Chiaro instead of the signal Bianco Neve.

What your opinion on this regards?
Ciao
