MC 202 369 Sq

Skymodels 1:48 sheet for the MC 202 includes three aircraft from the 369 squadron, "Rodi -estate 1943". The instructions call for upper surfaces in a base of Nocciola Chiaro 4 with Verde Oliva Scuro 2 mottle and undersurfaces in Grigio Azzurro Chiaro 1.
Can anyone comment on these suggested colors and also what pattern would be appropriate for the Verde Oliva Scuro 2; was this in smoke ring?
Also any leads on photos of MC 202's from this unit?
Thank you all.
Yours,
Mike Powell

Are you sure its 369 Sq. ? 369 Sq. belonged to 22o Gruppo and operated C.200s in Russia and later deployed to Naples in the defense of the homeland in 1943. At Naples 369 Sq. operated C.202s from the Macchi factory with the typical Smoke Ring camo applied to all upper surfaces. There are some well known pics of 369 Sq. C.202s in ADI #22.
Colors are: Verde Oliva Scuro 2 smoke rings over Nocciola Chiaro 4 with undersurfaces in Grigio Azzurro Chiaro 1.

I'm not sure of anything here, but am relying on the unit identification provided by Skymodels, which in full is; MC 202 - 396^ Sq. - 154o Gr. - Rodi -estate 1943.
Thanks for the smoke ring and color confirmation.

Ok 369 Sq is different from 396 Sq. 396 Sq operated C.202s on Rodi. The squadron emblem of this unit was a Rooster with an arrow through it when it operated G.50s in Greece. The C.202s of this unit wore the same camo scheme and colors as I mentioned above. I believe Maurizo D'Terlizzi built the plane you're interested in, I'll scan an image later on this evening when I get home.

My, I am getting old. I didn't spot the transposition until your last post. Yes 396 is the unit I meant. I'll look forward to your scan.
Thanks again,

Thanks,

Here are some photos of Mirka airplane; it is possible to see that the name Mirka is written on both sides of the nose; there are photos with other C202s with different names

Thanks to all for the excellent references!
Is there any reason the Mike Grant smoke ring decals would not be appropriate for modelling an MC 202 of 396 Sq as shown in these references?
In 1:48 scale, will the Mike Grant decal provide enough smoke rings for two aircraft or only one?

Mike's decals are fine for this subject. There are enough decals for one model.
