Fiat G.50 pictures

Post by shivadog » Sat Oct 31, 2009 2:48 pm

I search for some nice pictures of crashed, or slightly damaged G.50. Other picture with details will be welcomed to. (I have already Ali'd Italia and Militaria books about Fiats)

FIAT G50

Post by Aeroal » Mon Nov 02, 2009 5:21 am

Shivadog,

Books which I can suggest may be of interest regarding the FIAT G50 are : 'Dimensione Cielo, Immagine No A1, Caccia Assalto', Edizione Bizzarri, Roma, 1972. Unfortunately, this will probably be hard to find today. This is a photographic book with a quarter of the content devoted to the FIAT.
Perhaps the most comprehensive volume on the Freccia is, 'FIAT G50', by Generale Nicola Malizia, IBN Editore, Roma, 2004, ISBN 88-7565-002-0. This much later book should be rather easier to find, has a good number of photographs and a substantial and informative narrative. Hope this is of help.

Regards,

Aeroal.

Can anyone identify unit and place?
I see there is probably red 15, on a white stripe.

Another very nice picture with fiats and others from wikipedia:

Shivadog,

I have only seen the picture you posted, but that is not to say that there might be something else out there.

Aeroal.
