Camouflage and markings of S.82TC

Post by Graham Boak » Sat Dec 05, 2009 12:31 pm

The two aircraft that carried CR.42 fighters to Ethiopia. I presume they were yellow with dark green and reddish-brown mottle, but does anyone know different? What unit and individual markings did they carry?

Wleocme to Stormo Graham. There is little known about the two aircraft that transported the CR.42 other than this photo, but I can ask around the floks in Italy.

The camo on the plane in the photo appears to be the C1B/C10B type:

Thanks for that: has any news of the unit or coding surfaced since the posting?

On the same subject, do people agree that the wing-mounted engine nacelles on the Italeri kit are not convincing, or is it just me?
