Looking through several books and the Ro 37bis that served in Spain had a solid light color, the yellow and green sprayed spots. Did any Ro 37bis assign in Spain use the hard edged camo scheme?

The Ro.37bis did carry a hard edged camo scheme in 1937, see the Stormo color guide - Table 3. The hard edged (contrasting color, semi-gloss finish) camo schemes were first experimented with during the SCW but were replaced by the so-called Honeycomb camouflage scheme (soft-edge mottle schemes) in about the begining of 1938.

In 'Ali in Spagna' (Wings over Spain) from Giorgio Apostolo Editore on page 80 you can find a picture of a Ro.37 with hard edged camouflage.

The image is not very clear though, due to the high contrast in the image.

Peter - I was looking over Wings over Spain last night and saw the Ro.37 on pages 47 and 80 and was wondering if they fit the hard edge scheme. So thanks - should be an interesting model when I finish it.
