Wanted: Classic Airframes SM.79

Post by Capitano » Mon Jan 05, 2009 2:58 pm

Looking for a Classic Airframes SM.79 kit, either one will do, #452 early version or #462 late version. Cannot find one within reason and I refuse to patronize e-vil-bay. If you come across one, I'd appreciate it if you let me know where. Thanks.

Try to get the flashback version if you can, it contains allot of detailed resin parts and will likely end up as a collectors item, that is if you can find one!

Flashback? Yes, the Eduard KLH8925 SM 79 Sparviero kit from a few years back. The Holy Grail of SMs, isn't it?

Yes that's it, it was (re)issued way back when (actually just a few years ago :) ) by Flashback and contains allot of extras including a very nice photo etch fret. If you can find that baby, you hit it big :)

My searching paid off last week when I found a Classic Airframes SM.79 #452 at an out of the way shop. I paid $60 for it. The box was a little worn but all the parts are there.
