Yeah... fascinating... another correction. I feel a little bit tired with this project.

Enough for today. Maybe this color scheme is not the most demanding one - but it is definitely time consuming. And it requires "miles" of masking tape. And the plan is not to use decals - except for Gigi Tre Osei badges and serlal numbers.

And that's how it goes - one after another. But I'm really afraid of painting Italian flags with yellow fringes. These friskets are very soft and delicate so hard to apply correctly. Maybe I'll give up and use decals?

Well - this is it. More or less... Time for wash, panel lines, weathering and all this stuff.

Almost ready. These are my last built pictures. Next ones you'll see in the gallery soon. Not my best build anyway. But it's time to start something new.

Incredibly beautiful! I take it that the templates were pre-cut? If so, did they come with the kit or were they after-market? Also, what did you use for panel wash? That is a skill I have yet to master. I am really impressed with your work.

Oh, you're really too kind. I'm still a beginner. Camo is my weak point. Regarding your question - for markings I've used Polish Montex masks / friskets - they produce nice set for G.55. Regarding panel wash - well, I'm lazy guy - mostly Tamiya panel line accent dark brown has been used - and some artistic oil paints. The rest is just more or less careful marbling and painting. But this camo is demanding. And I spent a lot of time riveting this beast This kits is massive.
