Italeri 1/48 MB-326M/Impala Mk.I - SAAF 468 - WIP

Here's a quick build of a MB.326M/Impala Mk.I with the SAAF. The plane was locally constructed under license by Atlas in large numbers and was used in the tough battles in the South African Border war and in Angola in the 1970s and 1980s against insurgents and heavily armed Cuban forces.

I used Stormo Decals 48001-CD together with the kit supplied decals to get this plane. Its a simple livery but an attractive one. I've always wanted an armed-Aermacchi MB.326 that was used operationally and in combat for my collection and here it is.
