Wtd references for IMAM Ro 57bis

Post by Fabrice » Mon May 25, 2009 8:43 am

Hello

I have just discover this forum and i'm lucky because I start building the IMAM Ro 57bis from Special hobby in 1/48th scale. It's my first italian plane kit. I'm looking for any pictures of the cockpit, wheel wells and landing legs.
Thank you very much.

I think you have to be satisfied with these images, because I think they are the lone existent, they come from an Italian magazine of the end of the '40s; the quality of the paper was very poor in those times, so photos cannot be excellent. I could send you this image in short time because I have it in digital form on my computer, in the next days I shall provide other images; Of course they are for all the Stormo friends.

Issue 74 of Aerofan has an informative Ro57 feature article, including drawings of the rather unusual undercarriage and photos of the prototype, which looks quite different to the production aircraft.
