Special Hobby G.55

Post by teekell » Wed Aug 22, 2007 7:31 pm

I just got the Special Hobby 1/48 G.55. What a kit! Lots of photoetch and detail, but only one Resin part - the gunsight. Parts that are resin on most Italian aircraft kits are injected, and they look great. Very impressive.

I recently acquired two of this kit (one was an unexpected and wonderful gift). The sprues look to be the same as the Flying Machines G.55S, but that one has a lot more resin. What's nice about the Special Hobby kit is that all the parts you need to make either the serie 0 or the serie I are included.

Best wishes,
Brendan
