Here's a revealing article about China in today's Calgary Sun (its well worth the read):

Ottawa's trust in China has left us more vulnerable to COVID-19

Don't get me started on our present federal government or I'll be forcibly evicted from the forum for the use of such foul, vulgar language!

The Feds left us hanging, they shelled-out all kinds of relief to Ontario and Quebec, aside from $1.7billion to shut in orphan wells in Sask, BC and AB - although we send $2+ billion/yr to Ottawa. I think Kenney needs to draw up a new plan for how we fit into Confederation - this isn't working for the West. The Liberals in Canada are determined to shutdown our oil industry and we really share little in common with the east. I'm not even sure about Kenney, he's a committed Federalist - I hope Brian Jean makes a comeback. I voted Wildrose the two elections prior to the UCP and not sure I want to vote for the UCP again.
