Re.2000 Model at the Ängelholms Flygmuseum in Sweden

Anton Alm sent in these interesting pics (the photos were not taken by Anton) of an original wooden model of a Reggiane Re.2000 found at the Ängelholms Flygmuseum in Sweden. The photos are important because they give us valuable information about the original colors that were present on these planes. Stefano has made some useful observations about these photos and hopefully he'll summarize them in an update to his Vito Charts. One of Stefanos observations include the red tipped prop blades that appear on some earlier models, believed to have been used early on and later replaced by yellow tips.

...Marrone Mimetico 2's near same as 80/20 Testors Model Master 2009 British Crimson/Humbrol 118 U.S. Matt Tan enamel mix been employing since 2006 substituting Humbrol 107 or 180 long neither available. I've seen period color photos of Re.2000s with similar blade tip markings; all my Regia Aeronautica Italiana (RAI) fighters have been built, will research if could spray such markings on any of my remaining RAI builds.

Yes a very interesting artifact. Apparently there's a few more in this museum and original from Reggiane.

...Period photos of early Re.2000 Italian & Swedish "glasshouse" canopy aircraft has radio wire anchored on it, wonder if this was added on model by the Swedes?
