Messerschmitt Bf109G-4 Regia Aeronautica - 09559
With a worsening supply situation and in need of canon equipped fighters to counter
the growing menace of American four-engine heavies, the Regia Aeronautica
placed sizeable orders for the Bf.109G as a stop gap until enough Series 5 aircraft could
be manufactured. These aircraft were flung against American fighter and bomber squadrons in
the last dramatic phases of the war.
This kit contains 79 parts with resin wheels and improved cowl. Decals
for two RA aircraft 1) 365 Squadriglia, 150 Gruppo Autonomo "365-1" Sciacca A.B. July 1943
and 2) Italian A.F. 365 Squadriglia, 150 Gruppo Autonomo "365-8" Sciacca A.B. July 1943.
North African Bf.109G-2 Werk Nummer 10639, discovered abandoned in 1942. Aircraft restored to flying
condition in March 1991. The plane is unique in that it’s the world's most authentic and the only
original Messerschmitt Bf.109 to be returned to flying condition. The original plane is currently on
display at Hendon, UK and is a favorite attraction.
Decals for two aircraft:
1) 216a Squadriglia, 121o Gruppo Autonomo Bombardamento, August 1943
2) 207a Squadriglia, 103o Gruppo Autonomo Bombardamento, June 1943

Macchi C.202 - Gigi Tre Osei - HSG09132
Undoubtedly one of the best fighters of WWII, the Macchi C.202 represented
the finest in Italian aeronautical engineering: tough, reliable, extremely fast and maneuverable,
the C.202 was flown by all of the top scoring aces of the Regia
Aeronautica and was the preferred mount of Italian pilots. Considered superior
to the Bf.109G by virtue of its rate of climb, dive speed and maneuverability.

Kit inspired by Stormo
Decals - "Italian Aces" Part I - 48001. Contains markings for 4o Stormo 10o Gruppo 84a Squadriglia Capt. Franco Lucchini 84-1 Sept., 1942,
4o Stormo 9o Gruppo 73a Squadriglia Sgt. Maj. Teresio Martinoli, 73-4 July, 1942.
One of the best fighter aircraft of WWII, the MC.202 was the equivalent of the Spitfire Mk.V
and was superior to the Kittyhawk and Hurricanes in which it encountered,
in North Africa and elsewhere. The MC.202 was likely the best fighter aircraft in the
Axis inventory in 1941-42 and was flown by many Regia Aeronautica aces including
Teresio Martinoli and Franco Lucchini.
Contains decals for the famous 4o Stormo "Baracca" squadron that claimed over 1,000 kills
in North Africa.
Regarded as one of the best fighter aircraft of WWII, the MC.202 was an extremely
maneuverable aircraft in close combat. With a kill/loss of approximately 5:1, the C.202
ranks amongst the best fighters of the Second World War. The MC.202 was built in large
numbers (by Italian standards) and many remaining aircraft were incorporated in the
Co-Belligerent Italian Air Force following the 1943 Armistice. These aircraft were
operated primarily over Yugoslavian territory in support of supply and bombing
missions to Yugoslavian partisans.
Decals for two Co-Belligerant fighters.

Macchi C.205 Veltro 'ANR' - 09754
Recognized as one of the great fighters of WWII, this powerful and graceful machine was
heavily armed with two 2 x 20 mm cannons and two 2 x 0.5 caliber machine guns. The
plane was the equal of the Spitfire Mk.IX and was one of the best fighters in the axis
inventory in late 1942 and 1943. Like the other 'Series 5' fighers, produced in sufficient
numbers this plane could have tilted the balance of airpower in the central
Mediterranean. Following the Italian Armistice in 1943, the plane was used extensively
by the Italian Airforce in Northern Italy (ANR) where it was effective in interdicting
allied bombing missions.
Kit contains 75 parts. Decals for two ANR aircraft:
1) Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana, 1o Gruppo CT, 3a Sq., Code:5-3 June 1944
2) Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana, 1o Gruppo CT, 2a Sq., Code:22-2 July 1944
