Not surprised to see the SM.82 as the winner. It's a great model from Italeri. It is believed their next Italian subject will be the Caproni Ca.3 WWI bomber in 1/48th scale!

Eduard have one in the 'pipeline' as well. It gets a brief mention in one of their January 08 newsletters.

I'm also not surprised to see that the SM82 was the most popular, since it is an excellent subject and and neat looking aircraft.
What would really make my day, is to see either Italeri or Hasegawa come out with a CANT Z 1018 "Leone" and a CANT Z 511 Flying boat!
Vincent.

boy Vince, can you read what's on Italeri's minds! I recall (many) years ago when you mentioned a 1/72 SM.82 and Ca.3 and here you go ... I guess we can look forward to a Z.1018 in the future ... :)

Hi Vince,
Looks like the people at Italeri are finally starting to think like us!
The 1018 and the 511 would make a great addition to the line.
BTW, will you be bringing in the SM82 for sale on your site?
Thanks,
Vincent.

Vince, if I could get the kits, the kits would be listed immediately. Unfortunately, the ITA SM.82 still hasn't hit our shores yet.

Listed on Hannants 'Future Releases' pages is an AZ Models Ba.65, Caproni AP1 and Cant Z1018 Leone, all in 1/72. Their Ba27 is a neat little kit so hopefully these will be just as good, even if they are not Hasegawa quality.

It's going to be years before I even feel brave enough to tackle it, but the Planet Models FC.20bis is a beautiful kit. The SM.82 is gorgeous as well. I have no idea where I'll put it when it's built (having a hard enough time trying to store the box!), but it's going to be a joy to build.

Best wishes,
Brendan

This is slightly off the topic!

I currently have the Hasegawa MC. 205 kit 09133. I was wondering if the Hasegawa 09184 Co-Belligerant kit is different to the 09133 kit apart from the decals?
Maybe this page will help.

http://modelingmadness.com/splfeat/kr/has48c.htm

And if you place an a, b, or d after the 48 in the url, it will take you more pages with different kit information.

Both of these kits are nice. I picked up two of the G.55s and all three renditions of the Classic Airframes CR.42; Spanish Civil War, RA, and Foreign Service.
