IMAM RO 57 - interior colour

Post by max3rd » Tue Dec 08, 2009 3:33 pm

Hi all,
who knows what colour should be painted the cockpit of IMAM Ro.57 bis ?
As far as I know in 1942-43 the interior was painted in grigio azzurro chiaro, is that right ?
If someone has the n. 74 luglio-settembre 2000 of Aerofan and could scan the best pics of this machine it would be helpful for my job.
Thanks in advance.

Strictly speaking the interior was finished in GAC since the plane appeared a little later in the war (operationally), but I don't think anyone would fault you if you used the pre-Tavola X colors (verde anticorrossion). Here's Lubos' excellent Ro.57 as a reference:

and Jean's:

both masterpieces use VA for the interior.
