"Canvas" for acrylics in 1/72 WIP

After nasty pneumonia I had to change my paint system.
My favorite Humbrol and Xtracolor had to be left for small use and majority will be Acrylic.
Since they behave very different, I was looking for "canvas".
Another issue was developing my own palette of colors.

Here are results: Revell C200 and Supermodel G.55.

Main colors are: Giallo Mimetico 4 with Verde Mimetico 3 mottling, bottom Grigio Mimetico.
This one had engine changed and repainted in lighter color. Only color that will be just lighter w/o strong contrast was Gallo Mimetico 3.

Comparing colors:
- early war on C200 (Giallo Mimetico 4/Verde Mimetico 3), overpaiting that's Giallo Mimetico 3.
- late war on G55 (Nocciola Chiaro 4/Verde Oliva Scuro 2).

I like the color matching, Nocciola Chiaro and Giallo Mimetico look like what they should be! Great work on the G.55.

In the foot steps follows CR32 from Supermodel.

Fantastic looking work. I have those lifecolour paints. They are an aquired taste but the colours look good to me,

Oh, I was not clear on the subject of paint...
Yes interiors are pained with Lifecolor but the rest are my own mixes using Tamiya and Gunze H. Part of the project is preparing my own paint mixes for next builds.
I'm doing my best to like Lifecolor but feel much more secure with Gunze.
